The Healthcare Facilities Symposium & Expo has announced this year’s facility tour program. In September, HFSE attendees will have the opportunity to visit two of the newest facilities in Austin, Texas. HFSE takes place Sept. 24-26 at the Austin Convention Center. Tours include:
Texas Children’s Hospital North Austin Campus
Texas Children’s Hospital has opened a brand-new, greenfield hospital for children and women in Austin, Texas. The design began in February 2020 and the hospital opened in February 2024, just in time for the institution’s 70th birthday.
Medical Park Tower located on Ascension Seton Medical Center
Lillibridge Healthcare Services, Ventas’ wholly owned medical office operating subsidiary, and development partners at HKS Architects and Rogers O’Brien Construction, began designing a full-scale modernization of Medical Park Tower in 2019. Medical Park Tower was originally built in 1966 and is immediately adjacent to Ascension Seton Medical Center’s main campus, in the heart of the medical district in Austin, Texas.
