Valley Health’s new 800-million-square-foot hospital in Paramus, New Jersey has opened. The hospital is the heart of a 40-acre health and wellness campus and is adjacent to the Robert & Audrey Luckow Pavilion. Key features of the project include:
- 352 conversion-ready all private, same-handed inpatient rooms
- Dedicated women’s pavilion
- Advanced, integrated interventional platform and diagnostic imaging
- New emergency department
- 1,500-space parking structure
- Green roofs
The hospital has been planned, constructed and will be operated and maintained with sustainability in mind; 30% of the site will be dedicated to open, green space. The project team includes HDR and Torcon.
