Kahler Slater Opens Charlotte Office, Names New Healthcare Practice Leader

Kahler Slater has opened an office in Charlotte, North Carolina and hired Christopher W. Morales, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, as a vice president and national healthcare practice leader.

Morales brings extensive experience in healthcare strategy and design. In his role, he will serve healthcare clients both locally and nationally. Previously, he served as the president of FreemanWhite, a Haskell Company, and as vice president and healthcare design division leader at The Haskell Company.

Morales was responsible for the design of more than $2.5 billion in healthcare projects. A resident of the Charlotte Metro for the past 30 years, Morales has provided professional advisory, planning and design services to many of the nation’s leading health systems.
