    Taylor Design Expands Healthcare Leadership Team

    Several talented new designers and managers have joined Taylor Design’s growing healthcare studio. Additionally, healthcare industry leader Elliott Wortham has been named director of the company’s new Design Strategy Studio. Elliott Wortham, MHA, based in Taylor design’s San Francisco, California office, will lead efforts to grow service offerings in the areas of strategic planning, design research and experience design. Prior to joining Taylor Design, Wortham has managed and led innovation and strategy projects in various organizations, including health systems, startups and nonprofits.

    Other key healthcare hires include:

    Eric DeMott, NCARB, senior project manager, healthcare: Based in the company’s Orange County office, he has more than 30 years of experience working on healthcare projects.

    Arsalan Gharaveis, AIA, Ph.D., NCARB, EDAC, senior medical planner: Based in the company’s Los Angeles, California office, Gharaveis has 15 years of experience and will support design and planning of a wide variety of healthcare projects.

    Joseph Dasilva, AIA, DBIA, PMP, LEED AP, NCARB, senior project manager. Based in Taylor Design’s San Diego, California office, Dasilva has over 20 years of experience focused on the healthcare and science and technology markets.
