Goodwyn Mills Cawood Expands Healthcare Team in New Orleans
Goodwyn Mills Cawood continues to grow its presence in New Orleans, Louisiana with the additions of healthcare design professionals David Connick and Joanne Castro. With Connick joining the team as GMC’s newest healthcare architect and Castro as healthcare architectural designer, they bring nearly three decades of combined healthcare design experience to the team.
Connick joined GMC in the fall of 2023 with more than 25 years of experience in architecture and healthcare operations. He worked for Ochsner Health System for 20 years, with most of his tenure as a construction project manager. He most recently served as a clinic operations manager. Throughout his career, Connick has managed a wide array of projects – master plans, new construction and renovations. Projects covered numerous critical care, inpatient and outpatient modalities.
Castro joined GMC in January 2024 with three years of experience under her belt. She specializes in architectural design, visualization and project coordination. Her expertise utilizing BIM methodologies and leveraging the power of rendering software allows her to bring architectural designs and visions to life.
