JE Dunn Construction has expanded its Tampa, Florida team with the addition of senior project manager, Jeff Wherry. He will focus his efforts on the company’s growing healthcare division, including the general oversight and management of budgets, scheduling, permitting, job safety, materials procurement and client relations.

Wherry comes to Tampa from JE Dunn’s Nashville, Tennessee office. With a decade of experience in the healthcare construction industry, he has overseen an array of high-visibility healthcare projects. His industry experience began with a 23-phase masterplan renovation of Providence Memorial Hospital in El Paso, Texas and has continued through various complicated healthcare expansions and renovations over the last several years, to include a recently completed behavioral health and rehab addition at Medical City McKinney in McKinney, Texas.

“Jeff is a dynamic and inspiring leader, with a strong ability to build relationships and manage high-performing teams,” said Jake Nellis, vice president of JE Dunn Tampa. “We work hard to put together teams of specialized experts who can meet the needs of our clients, and we know that Jeff’s experience will bring tremendous depth to our healthcare team.”
