The Healthcare Facilities Symposium & Expo facility tour program has been announced. This year, attendees will have the opportunity to visit two of the newest healthcare facilities in Charlotte, North Carolina. The tour will be held Sept. 18. This year’s program includes tours of:
Atrium Health Union West Campus
Union West Campus is a greenfield, 37-acre full-service hospital campus in Stallings, North Carolina, just east of downtown Charlotte. Phase one included 160,000-square-foot hospital providing approximately 40 beds in two care wings, along with a bridge-connected 69,000-square-foot medical office building that includes a satellite Levine Cancer Institute care facility.
Novant Health’s Ballantyne Medical Center
Novant Health’s Ballantyne Medical Center is designed to meet today’s community healthcare demands and tomorrow’s projected growth needs. The 185,000-square-foot hospital and 52,000-square-foot medical office building were designed to complement each other in scale, materiality, wayfinding and programming, as well as, to relate to the surrounding upscale Ballantyne area in Charlotte, North Carolina.
