IAPMO Seeks UPC Adult Changing Station Task Group Members
The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials is accepting applications and seeking technical experts to participate on a task group to address adult changing stations toward the development of the 2027 Uniform Plumbing Code.
The scope of the Adult Changing Station Task Group is to address concerns and establish health and safety requirements, including:
- Design and minimum equipment requirements
- Minimum fixture requirements
- Hygiene and sanitation
- Further development of the provisions from the 2024 UPC Item #097
The task group recommendations will be forwarded to the UPC Technical Committee for consideration in the development of the 2027 edition of the UPC.
Task group members will participate via conference call or web meeting, provide their perspective on the code and assist in drafting recommendations for action by the UPC Technical Committee’s consideration. Applicants are not required to be members of the UPC Technical Committee.
The deadline to apply is May 31.
