An open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony was recently held for the Augusta Health Outpatient Pavilion in in Fishersville, Virginia.
The 60,000-square-foot pavilion is designed to improve the region’s access to outpatient care and to meet the growing demand for outpatient services, both locally and nationally. The facility features a surgery center with 11 operating/procedure rooms and 24 individual pre-/post-op recovery rooms, an imaging center with X-ray, ultrasound, CT and MRI units, as well as a breast care center providing mammography, ultrasound and biopsy services. The new building also offers ample parking, comfortable registration and waiting areas, and a café to serve patients and anyone attending a procedure with them. The project team includes Barton Malow, CannonDesign and JLL.
