Kurt Spiering, FAIA, ACHA, EDAC, has joined Flad Architects’ healthcare practice as director of strategic innovation. He is an industry leader with extensive programming and planning experience and most recently served as vice president and chairman of the board of a national architecture firm. He is a recognized pioneer in Lean, Integrated Project Delivery and prefabricated design solutions for the healthcare industry.
Spiering has led the planning and design of numerous new hospitals and additions for major healthcare systems across the country. In his new role, he will support health systems in strategic planning and predesign services, including visioning, master planning and strategic programming.
