The Sands-Constellation Center for Critical Care has received a 2022 Jeffrey J. Zogg Build New York Award. The project was one of three this year to receive the honor, presented by the Associated General Contractors of New York State.
LeChase served as Construction Manager-at-Risk for the 330,000-square-foot, seven-story Sands-Constellation Center, located on the campus of Rochester Regional Health’s Rochester General Hospital.
The project team also included CPL Architecture and M/E Engineering. The building, completed in the fall of 2020, features 20 multi-disciplinary operating rooms, 28 post-anesthesia care unit bays, 108 private acuity-adaptable patient rooms, 20 private postpartum rooms, 14 special care nursery rooms and a new sterilization department.
Winners will be honored at an event in spring 2023.
