E4H Environments for Health Architecture received the Women in Healthcare’s Making a Difference Award at the 6th annual LeadHERship Summit. The award recognizes an organization that makes significant contributions to its community through its time, actions, talents and dedication. The award recognizes E4H as a role model within the industry, striving to make the world a better place through compassion and service.

The company’s 4wrd initiative is dedicated to diversity, equity and inclusion within the workplace and the local community. Through this initiative, E4H aims to educate staff on relevant issues, allowing them to reach their highest potential and achieve a more balanced workforce and increase diversity in leadership. Notable 4wrd initiatives include the 4wrd Speaking Challenge where E4H provides funding and mentorship for women to attend leadership conferences and an annual scholarship that has awarded over $30,000 to students from diverse backgrounds in an effort to diversify a traditionally homogenous industry.

Trisha Fong, senior associate, AIA, leads the firm’s 4wrd initiative and accepted the award alongside Associate Partner Allison Dar, AIA, LEED AP, EDAC.
