COVID-19 continues to strain hospitals and healthcare systems around the world. Its impact is evident across every facet of the industry, and has accelerated trends in telehealth and market consolidation. The compounding issues of economic disruption, climate change and social inequity add further complexity to an already challenging issue.

These challenges fueled Perkins Eastman to understand how the healthcare industry can become more resilient. The result is a new report, “Healthcare Reset: Beyond the New Normal.” It examines the industry through four lenses — infectious disease & biological threats, economic disruption, social injustice and climate change — to chart a design path forward. The report features interviews with representatives at leading healthcare institutions, a survey of healthcare professionals across the United States and extensive research.

The report shares tools, strategies and best practices to build and plan resilient, human-centered healthcare environments. Learn more or download the report at https://www.perkinseastman.com/white-papers/healthcare-reset/.
