Remodeled Medical Surgical Unit Opens at Holy Rosary Healthcare

Holy Rosary Healthcare (Miles City, Montana), now part of Intermountain Healthcare, has opened its newly remodeled Medical Surgical West unit focused on patient care. The remodeled unit provides swing bed services. This allows patients to remain or transfer to the facility for rehabilitation services, serving individuals in a transition phase of illness or recovery that no longer requires acute care services.

In addition to remodeled patient rooms, patients can enjoy additional areas during their healing process, including a social area for dining and lounging with a fireplace, along with outdoor patio space. Patients can also utilize an updated therapy room with new equipment, such as a treatment bed, stairs, parallel bars, ultrasound and electric stimulation equipment and a NuStep exerciser.

The open concept and comfortable atmosphere with private rooms was designed to help with the recovery process of patients. The project team included Saunders Construction and Cushing Terrell.
