Beth Melchi, The Boldt Company’s national healthcare business development director, has agreed to fill the volunteer role of national membership chair for the Association of Medical Facility Professionals.
Melchi has more than 30 years of operational experience in healthcare and has led complex construction projects for several major healthcare systems in Indiana. Most recently, Melchi served as vice president of operations for Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. In her position, she was responsible for multiple campus buildings and was the lead executive overseeing construction renovation for operating rooms, upgrading imaging, updating commons areas and other facility projects.
Launched in January 2019, the Association of Medical Facility Professionals is a professional member-based, nonprofit for the healthcare-built environment with chapters in Central Florida, Charlotte, Chicago, Houston, North Texas, Northern California, New York City, Philadelphia and the Upper Midwest. AMFP expects to soon launch new chapters in Atlanta, Boston and Washington, D.C.
