Past episodes of Texas A&M’s “Architecture for Health” Visiting Lecture Series are now available online, courtesy of PBS: https://www.pbs.org/show/texas-architecture-for-health/.
The lecture series is an interdisciplinary collaboration between the Texas A&M School of Architecture, College of Medicine and the School of Public Health. Episodes (82 different, 45-minute presentations) are available going back to 2018.
Through these lectures, leading healthcare designers and administrators explore the built environment’s effect on occupants’ health. Lectures were accredited for continuing education credits by the AIA, HSW, American Planning Association and the American Society of Landscape Architects.
The series will appeal to the general public, health consultants, nurses, physicians, allied health professionals, landscape architects, architects, engineers, interior designers, construction firms, healthcare administrators, facilities management, hospital engineers, materials management and other related disciplines.
