Texas Oncology to Meet Increased Need for Cancer Care with New Beaumont Facility

Construction has started for Texas Oncology’s new 32,000-square-foot cancer care center in Beaumont, Texas. Located on the CHRISTUS Southeast Texas St. Elizabeth hospital campus, the cancer center will provide medical oncology, radiation oncology, gynecologic oncology, chemotherapy, genetic counseling and lab services, as well as clinical trials. Radiation services will be provided in collaboration with CHRISTUS Southeast Texas St. Elizabeth.

The new cancer center is a significant expansion, doubling the number of infusion chairs available to patients. An onsite medically integrated pharmacy, fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Healthcare, will provide convenient, customized service in filling prescriptions and assisting patients with managing medications, such as immunotherapy. The cancer center is being developed by Cottonwood Development; McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. serves as the general contractor and RS&H as the project’s architect. The center will open in the spring of 2023.
