The Joseph G. Sprague New Investigator Award, created by The Center for Health Design and funded by the Sprague Foundation, strives to encourage up-and-coming researchers to examine how the built environment impacts outcomes in healthcare settings. Priority will be given to studies focused on design that supports 1) mental and behavioral health, 2) aging and 3) pediatric care.
Investigators in the early phases of their research career (academia and professional practice) are encouraged to apply. Current graduate students and those who have graduated with a research degree within the past three years are eligible. The Center for Health Design will present up to two awards up to $10,000 to award recipient(s). The deadline to submit is June 3. Award recipients will be announced July 15.
