Florida Heart Associates Renovation, Expansion Project Complete
An expansion and renovation project at Florida Heart Associates, located in Fort Myers, Florida, is complete.
Stevens Construction provided a complete interior renovation of the two-story, 25,374-square-foot building, which included an upgrade of all exam rooms, nurse stations, offices, lobby and the cardiac PET equipment. The general contractor also expanded the existing building with the new construction of an ambulatory surgery center.
The multi-phased project was licensed by the Agency for Healthcare Administration, and remained operational and occupied during construction, requiring daily coordination between Stevens Construction and Florida Heart Associates.
The team worked in preconstruction for six months prior to construction starting, providing budgeting, constructability reviews and cost-savings suggestions.
PRA served as architect on the project.
