Following a virtual groundbreaking, construction will begin on the new $216-million AdventHealth Riverview Hospital in Riverview, Florida.
The 282,000-square-foot, four-story hospital will serve one of the fastest growing communities in Hillsborough County. The first phase of the new Riverview hospital will include 80 beds at opening and additional space for future expansion to accommodate over 200 beds as the community’s demand for healthcare grows. The full-service hospital will provide emergency, cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology (including labor & delivery), gastroenterology, orthopedic and urology services.
The project team includes general contractor Robins & Morton and architect HuntonBrady.
The hospital is scheduled to open in spring of 2023.
