Comprehensive Outpatient Facility Opens for Long Island Residents
A new ambulatory care facility in Bethpage, New York, has recently opened. The three-story, 54,000-square-foot advanced multispecialty care center offers a broad range of medical services to residents of Long Island.
The property was acquired in July 2020 and the facility was delivered under an expedited timeline of nine months from the beginning of construction. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, such as supply chain shortages and COVID safety measures, the team completed the project this fall and patients were first welcomed in October 2021.
The project team included Holt Construction, as well as NK Architects, RMB Associates and VHB. Seavest Healthcare Properties led the adaptive reuse project, rebuilding a former corporate headquarters to a modern, cost-effective ambulatory facility.
