Interior Design Leader Aimee Platt Relocates to CannonDesign’s Dallas Office

Aimee Platt, associate vice president at CannonDesign, has recently relocated from the firm’s Chicago, Illinois office to its Dallas, Texas office — where she will work with the healthcare interiors practice across the firm’s two Texas offices.

With more than 25 years of experience in interior design and healthcare planning, Platt has collaborated with designers across CannonDesign, as well as various hospital leadership and staff to create thoughtful and empathetic interior experiences. From outpatient specialty clinics to new community hospitals, she’s designed remarkable healthcare journeys that improve quality of life for patients, staff and visitors, alike.

Past projects she’s worked on include Penn State Hampden Medical Center, Rush University Medical Center/Midwest Orthopedics Outpatient Center and Mount Sinai Holy Cross Hospital Inpatient Behavioral Health/Crisis Stabilization Unit. She has also worked with Advocate Aurora, Ascension Health, Lurie Children’s Hospital and more.

Last year, Platt was named to the board of directors for the American Academy of Healthcare Interior Designers.
