Rachel Casey Joins Trapani Architects as Principal, Healthcare Studio Leader

Rachel L. Casey, RA, NCARB, LEED AP, has joined Trapani Architects as principal and healthcare studio leader. As a project architect and project design manager, Casey has more than 15 years of experience leading teams of planners,architects, interior architectural designers and associated consultants in the design of various healthcare projects including outpatient clinics, on campus clinical renovations, emergency rooms, administrative offices and surgical masterplans.

Casey is working with Tufts Medical Center, Southcoast Health, Seattle’s Swedish Health, Dickinson Hospital and Queens Medical Center. While working for others, Casey provided design and construction administration services for the new 400,000-square-foot pediatric acute care campus at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Orlando, Florida; design and project management of concurrent, multiple outpatient clinics and a building for transformative medicine for Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Massachusetts.

Other clients she has worked with in the past include Massachusetts General Hospital, Faulkner Hospital, MaineGeneral Medical Center, North Shore Medical Center and Boston Children’s Hospital.
