Michael Andersen Joins HGA as Business Developer

Michael Andersen has joined HGA as associate vice president in Business Development.

For the past 25 years, Andersen has been focused on the healthcare market in the areas of business development, marketing, sales, strategic planning and communications. He will continue his focus on the healthcare market by supporting the Minneapolis, Minnesota healthcare team throughout their region by leveraging existing relationships, while expanding his network and identifying new client opportunities.

Before joining HGA, Andersen was the national healthcare market sector leader at AECOM, where he led national healthcare business development and marketing strategies across multiple offices. Prior to AECOM, he was the project executive and director of business development at Erdman. He worked with university medical systems, integrated health systems, community hospitals and group practices for clients in the South, Southwest and Pacific Northwest.

Andersen earned the Evidence-Based Design Accreditation and Certification and is a member of American Society for Health Care Engineering and Construction Management Association of America.
