Everest Rehabilitation Hospitals to Build 36-Bed Rehab Hospital in Florida
Everest Rehabilitation Hospitals, LLC plans to invest over $24 million in another physical rehabilitation hospital, this time to serve the needs of the ever‐growing Kissimmee, Florida region. Everest’s freestanding, comprehensive rehabilitation hospital will be constructed on 4.01 acres of land, one minute south of the area’s medical district.
Everest Rehabilitation Hospital is known for developing identical and modern 40,000-square-foot, 36-bed single-story physical rehabilitation hospitals. The hospitals are much more like a luxury hotel vs. a typical hospital setting. Everest Rehabilitation Hospitals are predesigned to be able to add an additional 17 private beds should the market dictate the need for expansion.
The hospital includes spacious, equipped inpatient and outpatient physical therapy gyms, large outdoor mobility courtyard for therapeutic use, aqua therapy, fully furnished life skills training apartment with full kitchen and bathroom, several family gathering areas, extra-large dining hall and patio, in-house dialysis and in-house pharmacy. The hospital will serve patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, speech impediments, amputation, pulmonary disease, orthopedic injury, COVID-19 and other medically complex conditions.
Everest Rehabilitation Hospital Kissimmee will feature a comprehensive and interdisciplinary physician-led experienced team of rehabilitation therapists focused on increasing patient strength and endurance and improving quality of life in a modern setting.
