Wellness and Medical Complex Provides Variety of Services in One Central Location

The newest Baptist Health South Florida facility recently opened to the public. Located in Plantation, Florida, this wellness and medical complex not only increases access to quality care for Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade County residents, it also builds upon Baptist Health’s existing presence in the tri-county area. The project team included architect Gresham Smith and general contractor ANF Construction Group.

The 112,000-square-foot facility includes an ambulatory surgical center with five operating rooms and features services from the health system’s four centers of excellence providing cutting-edge cancer, orthopedic, cardiology and spine care. The facility also provides outpatient services including urgent care, diagnostic imaging, radiation oncology, physical therapy, medical oncology, primary care and more.

Maintaining a consistent modern look and feel as Baptist Health’s other recently completed facilities, the Plantation wellness and medical complex features tilt-up walls, metal panels and curtainwall glazing on the exterior. The design concept inside is clean and modern, with a comprehensive wayfinding system that makes it easy and enjoyable for patients to navigate the building.
