Experienced business developer Marcia Musico has been hired by SmithGroup to grow the firm’s healthcare market share in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast. Musico will support the Washington, D.C. healthcare studio, connecting clients needing strategic planning and design solutions with SmithGroup’s health strategists, medical planners and design experts.
SmithGroup’s Health Practice encompasses a spectrum of specialty expertise, including strategic consulting, facility planning and design for all types of public and private health organizations. Musico has focused her career on helping clients to advance their healthcare environments and is particularly passionate about bringing care and wellness to underserved communities. She has more than 25 years of experience in business development for the healthcare sector, including past roles at Gresham Smith in Nashville, Tennessee; AECOM Hunt (formerly Hunt Construction) in Indianapolis, Indiana and TLC Engineering Solutions in Orlando, Florida.
Musico is a LEED Green Associate, and a member of the American Society for Healthcare Engineering and the U.S. Green Building Council.
