Registration is open for the 2020 ASPE Digital Experience, to be held Dec. 1-3. It will offer interactive education, a dynamic exhibitor showcase and unique connection opportunities for plumbing industry professionals. The American Society of Plumbing Engineers created its first-ever online expo to minimize health risk to members, guests and exhibitors. Access to sessions will be available 24/7 online. The expo hall will be open throughout the entire event.
A highlight of day 1 will be the live featured session: “The Whole Story and Beyond: Planning, Design, Construction, and Operations Considerations for Creating the McCormick Place Alternative Care Facility, and Its Lasting Legacy on Emergency Response in the United States.”
Presented by Susan Limbrunner of Stantec Architecture Inc. and Douglas J. King of Project Management Advisors Inc., this two-part session will share a first-hand account of the rapid journey to convert the country’s largest convention center into an operating healthcare facility and will discuss lessons learned that can be applied to future deployments of alternate care sites.
The technical education program, complimentary to ASPE members, will feature more than 20 sessions on plumbing design topics for professionals at all career stages. Participants will be able to earn up to 15 hours of continuing education units. For details, visit expo.aspe.org.
