‘1 Hour’ News Show Reimagines Online Reporting, Education for Healthcare Built Environment

The Corporate Realty Design & Management Institute, in partnership with the Association of Medical Facility Professionals, is bringing a powerful combination of C-suite insight and engaging, high-quality production to its premiere episode of 1 Hour. This bi-weekly virtual news show fills a vital need for engaging, high-quality continuing education content for all professionals serving the healthcare built environment.

1 Hour is part of the @Work VirtualCast platform, which connects healthcare real estate, design, construction, facilities management and related professionals to timely events, news, education and resources. It builds upon the hosts’ longstanding history of successful live events with its focus on actionable insight from industry leaders.

CRDMI’s and AMFP’s recent collaboration earlier this spring in response to the COVID-19 crisis brought together an all-star cast of facilities executives and AEC professionals that drew more than 2,000 viewers, demonstrating the industry’s hunger for content that goes beyond the standard webcast fare.

The first episode of 1 Hour airs at 3 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, July 29, and will air every other Wednesday. Each program provides attendees with 1 CE hour. The initial episode includes a lineup around the theme of “Moving Forward While Grappling with COVID-19.” Guests on the show include:

  • Brian Weldy, vice president facilities and engineering for HCA Healthcare
  • Charisse Oland, president of Oland Consulting
  • Warren Geller, president and CEO of Englewood Health
  • Mike Wood, vice president, planning, design, construction & energy for Medxcel
  • Mike Hargrave, principal at Revista

Tune in every other Wednesday at 3 p.m. EDT, or on-demand, at www.virtualcast.org.
