Jeff Henry, MBA, CAE, has joined the Metal Construction Association as executive director, effective June 1. Henry has cultivated a passion and deep respect for associations over his 30-year career in association management. As a Certified Association Executive, a title earned by fewer than 5% of association professionals, Henry is a distinguished leader in the association field.
As MCA’s executive director, Henry will lead a team of professionals who will support industry members and elevate the use of metal in construction. “My job is to empower them to develop programs and services that advance the goals of the association and that provide our membership with exceptional professional development opportunities,” Henry said.
Henry‘s previous roles include managing director of the United States Bowling Congress and president of the National Frame Building Association. He is the executive director of the International Staple, Nail and Tool Association and the Synthetic Roof Underlayment Institute.
MCA’s board of directors extends its thanks to Karl Hielscher for his service as executive director for the past four, years. During his tenure Hielscher was instrumental in strengthening the association’s strategic direction, growing overall membership and developing technical and educational resources for the industry, including bulletins, white papers and education seminars.
