The PhiloWilke Partnership welcomes Joanna Lam as its director of interiors. Lam brings over 30 years of design experience in healthcare, corporate and commercial projects.
In her new role, she will lead the interior design direction for the firm, as well as broaden the firm’s service offerings to include furniture design and 
specifications.
Lam approaches interiors as design with a purpose, specifically to enhance the human experience. “The healthcare environment encompasses more dimensional design elements and criteria than other industries. It must create a supportive environment to clinicals, while remaining sensitive to the human emotional and spiritual paths; it’s about the patient’s journey. A successful design should minimize patient and family anxieties to inspire healing, well-being and give hope.”
