In order to keep your patient TVs and entertainment systems clean, and to limit hospital-acquired infections—especially during the current COVID-19 pandemic—PDi Communication Systems’ recommends the following tips:
- Wipe down equipment with 5% bleach solution or with disinfectant wipes
- Many other ammonia, alcohol and hydrogen peroxide solutions can also be used
- Regardless of the cleaning solution you choose, DO NOT spray liquids directly on the TV
- Use a pre-moistened disinfectant wipe or spray the cleaning solution onto a cloth and apply it to the TV product
