Arrasmith, a Louisville, Kentucky-based architecture firm, has joined Indianapolis, Indiana-based architecture and engineering firm Schmidt Associates.
Arrasmith’s expertise in healthcare—including university lab, hospital and medical research facility design—will support the joined firm’s Healthcare Studio.
The joining is a result of both firms’ commitment to servant leadership and client success. Integrating the two will create an enhanced level of expertise, capacity and service across a larger geographic area.
Arrasmith, also known as AJRC, has a legacy starting in 1926 in Louisville. Over more than 90 years, the firm has served clients through architecture and planning in 28 states and seven countries. Its work spans a variety of sectors, with a focus on healthcare, workplace and community-focused projects.
The combined firm now totals approximately 110 employees across architecture, engineering, interior design, construction administration and administrative functions. Both the Louisville and Indianapolis offices will remain in their present locations.
