Call for Speakers Announced for Healthcare Facilities Symposium & Expo

Submissions are open for speakers for the 2020 Healthcare Facilities Symposium & Expo, which will be held Sept. 22-24 at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California. The deadline to submit proposals is Feb. 7. If interested, visit www.hcarefacilities.com/tospeak.asp.

The Healthcare Facilities Symposium & Expo is dedicated to creating a multi-disciplinary environment that inspires its attendees to evoke change and the advancement of a better delivery of healthcare through the physical space. Competitors, clients and colleagues come together as friends to collaborate, share research, hear fresh perspectives and participate in the ever-changing conversation of the industry.

Criteria for submitting are:

  • If selected, the presentation must not be presented at any other industry event within the same calendar year.
  • All case studies must include a representative from a healthcare facility to co-present so the presentation is well rounded.
  • The actual presentation must correspond with the original session description.
  • The session must contain factual, educational content and avoid any puffery or sales pitch presentations.
  • All presentations will be submitted to peer review and, if in non-compliance with the above conditions, the presentation will be removed from the program.
  • All speakers must provide the symposium with a copy of the presentation (proprietary information can be removed) to post online for attendees to download.
  • All speakers must pay for their own travel expenses. Each speaker will be given a complimentary conference registration but are responsible for all other expenses.
