Each year, professionals from around the globe gather to learn the latest in HVACR and plumbing —exploring the latest trends, technology and applications under one roof (albeit a large roof!). This year is no different. The 2020 AHR Expo, co-sponsored by ASHRAE and AHRI, will be held Feb. 3-5, 2020 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. It is held concurrently with ASHRAE’s Winter Conference.

Each year, exhibitors display new solutions serving every facet of HVACR, ranging from highly efficient equipment to sophisticated whole-building management systems. Attendees can expect to explore areas of industry growth, such as building automation and control technologies, as well as solutions and equipment relating to alternative heating and cooling methods, time-saving tools and instruments and other innovations that support a more efficient jobsite.

A sample of products and solutions to be featured at the expo include:

    • Pre-packaged variable frequency drive solution for variable torque pump and fan applications in commercial buildings and facilities ideal for healthcare, education, retail, hospitality and manufacturing
    • Vertical stack water source heat pump ideal for high-performance buildings to provide maximum comfort and performance to end users, as well as flexibility for engineers and architects
    • HEPA filtration technology product integrations that satisfy IAQ requirements including hospital, medical and other sensitive environments

The 2020 show also will include 76 free educational sessions led by industry. Each session will range from one to two hours and will aim to deliver solutions to some of the HVACR industry’s most pressing challenges and opportunities.

Finally, AHR Expo Show Management recently announced the winners of the 2020 AHR Expo Innovation Awards competition. Hosted annually by the AHR Expo, products in 10 industry categories are recognized for their innovative contribution to HVACR. Additionally, one of the category winners will be recognized during the Expo as the most inventive and original product and will receive the 2020 Product of the Year Award.
