The new Studer Family Children’s Hospital at Sacred Heart in Pensacola, Florida is the only children’s hospital serving families in the Northwest Florida, South Alabama and South Georgia regions. The facility allows women and children in the area to receive specialized care and consolidates pediatric services.
The four-story, $85-million facility includes more than 120 beds and a new 175,000-square-foot tower housing a NICU and trauma center. The project team included HKS Architects, WSP and Hoar Construction. Key features are:

- Inpatient rehabilitation gym
- Child life playrooms
- Outpatient lab services
- New family friendly dining venue
