GraceHebert Architects and Curtis Group Architects have merged, broadening a national footprint through an overlay of experience and infrastructure. The combined company will operate as Grace Hebert Curtis Architects and will have offices in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Louisiana; Dallas, Texas and Pawleys Island, South Carolina.

The merger provides geographic growth opportunities for the new company, as well as strengthening the foundation and resources for their collaborative processes.

“This merger stems from a successful multi-year joint venture relationship on a variety of large-scale healthcare projects,” said Jerry Hebert, president of Grace Hebert Curtis Architects. “Tom Curtis, CEO of Curtis Group, has a proven and long-standing legacy across the healthcare industry that we have coupled with our resources and presence across education, justice, performing arts and commercial design that will offer new growth opportunities.”

The merger represents a combined company size of over 50 employees.

“Our core teams now have added layers of diversity across different regions now,” said Tom Curtis, CEO of Curtis Group. “We are more than just a team of professionals – we’re a family. The past 23 years have solidified our processes in order to bring creative solutions to the table for an industry that is always evolving and pushing the boundaries of healthcare design and construction. We are truly blessed and excited about the future of this new union.”
