Richard (Dick) Moeller has joined Stantec as a senior mechanical engineer in its growing buildings engineering team in San Diego, California. Moeller has more than 40 years of experience in design and management of numerous project types, with a focus on the design of sustainable healthcare facilities.
Moeller has presented nationally and internationally as a recognized subject matter expert on healthcare infrastructure systems, high-performance healthcare 
facilities and infection prevention in the healthcare design, construction and operation environment. He has authored and co-authored multiple articles.
Moeller is an active member of the American Hospital Association, the American Society for Healthcare Engineering, the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology and a Life Member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers. An ASHE faculty member since 1999, Moeller has spoken nationally on healthcare issues for ASHE/AHA. Among his topics: Healthcare Construction Certificate, Managing Infection Prevention During the Construction and Operation of Healthcare Facilities and Ventilation of Health Care Facilities: Complying with ASHRAE Standard 170.
Moeller is a graduate of the University of Washington, a licensed professional engineer in multiple states, a LEED Accredited Professional, a designated ASHE Fellow, an ASHRAE Certified Healthcare Facility Design Professional and an AHA Certified Healthcare Constructor.
