Richard (Dick) Moeller has joined Stantec as a senior mechanical engineer in its growing buildings engineering team in San Diego, California. Moeller has more than 40 years of experience in design and management of numerous project types, with a focus on the design of sustainable healthcare facilities.

Moeller is an active member of the American Hospital Association, the American Society for Healthcare Engineering, the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology and a Life Member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers. An ASHE faculty member since 1999, Moeller has spoken nationally on healthcare issues for ASHE/AHA. Among his topics: Healthcare Construction Certificate, Managing Infection Prevention During the Construction and Operation of Healthcare Facilities and Ventilation of Health Care Facilities: Complying with ASHRAE Standard 170.
Moeller is a graduate of the University of Washington, a licensed professional engineer in multiple states, a LEED Accredited Professional, a designated ASHE Fellow, an ASHRAE Certified Healthcare Facility Design Professional and an AHA Certified Healthcare Constructor.
