Donald R. Stevens has joined Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. as director – healthcare facilities. In this role, Stevens will provide engineering and operational solutions to healthcare clients to improve the efficiency and lower the operating costs of their facilities.
Stevens has 33 years of experience managing the construction, maintenance and operations of healthcare facilities. Previously, he served Kaiser Permanente for 
nearly a decade in various leadership roles including executive director, chief energy officer and director of engineering. During this time, he was responsible for various support functions, including environmental services, security, parking, landscaping, plant operations, construction, space planning, safety, energy initiatives and meal services.
Stevens received a bachelor’s degree in business and public administration-accounting from University of Missouri-Columbia. He is a certified healthcare facility manager and constructor. He is also a member of the American Society for Healthcare Engineering and National Fire Protection Association.
