Lori Armstrong Promoted to Health Principal in Tampa

HDR senior interior designer Lori Armstrong, RID, NCIDQ, LEED AP, IIDA, has been promoted to health principal in HDR’s Tampa, Florida office. Armstrong has been with HDR for seven of her 15 years of experience in healthcare design and has contributed to several award-winning projects.

With HDR, Armstrong has led interior design on projects including cancer centers, acute care hospitals, children’s hospitals, ICU suites and emergency departments. Armstrong has served as the industry liaison for her local AIA Academy of Architecture for Health chapter and earned her bachelor of science in interior design at Philadelphia University.

“Throughout her time at HDR, Lori has shown the creativity and confidence necessary to lead our Health program in Tampa,” said Hank Adams, AIA, EDAC, FACHA, HDR’s global director of health. “Designing the healthcare experience is of utmost importance to the future of care delivery, and Lori is a designer who can continue to steer us in the right direction.”
