BOSTON, Mass. —Wilson HGA welcomes Arlen Li, AIA, LEED BD+C, as associate vice president and senior architect and science planner in the Boston, Massachusetts office. He brings a wide range and depth of expertise on science building design to augment the firm’s national Science and Technology practice.

Before joining Wilson HGA, he was director of lab planning with Payette Associates in Boston, where he worked with such clients as George Washington University, University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Yale University, Williams College, Skidmore College and the University of Washington. He additionally co-founded the firm’s original Sustainable Design Group.
He is active in local and national sustainable design groups, including U.S. Green Building Council, Northeast Sustainable Energy Association and the International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories.
Li has a Master of Architecture from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts in architecture from Yale University. He is a licensed architect.
