    HGA Hires Scott Laoboonmi as Healthcare Project Manager

    HGA has hired Scott Laoboonmi, Associate AIA, as associate vice president and project manager in the Los Angeles, California office. He will manage integrated design-team processes and client relations for the Healthcare Practice Group serving the Southern California market.

    Laoboonmi has more than 15 years of experience focused on healthcare design. His expertise includes architectural design, space planning, project management, construction administration, master planning and programming for medical centers, hospitals, medical office buildings, imaging centers and other project types.

    Before joining HGA, he was an associate vice president and construction administration leader with CannonDesign in Los Angeles. Previously, he was a medical planner and CAD manager with Lee, Burkhart, Liu in Los Angeles.

    Throughout his architectural career, he has led complex projects for clients such as University of California San Diego, Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital, Cedars-Sinai and Kaiser Permanente.

    Laoboonmi has a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southern California, and is a member of the AIA Los Angeles Healthcare Steering Committee. He also has presented programs on building information modeling at the BIM Forum | San Diego and Autodesk University.
