Sharmila Badkar has rejoined Stantec as a project manager in its San Francisco, California office. With more than 15 years of experience, Badkar supports the healthcare architecture market in Northern California.

In her role, Badkar focuses on leading projects towards successful outcomes in the design and development of healthcare facilities that provide the highest achievable level of care for patients. Her strength lies in her ability to create a balance between design development and the practicality of usage while providing the best possible architectural delivery.

Prior to rejoining Stantec, Badkar served as a project manager and her responsibilities included the technical documentation and design of OSHPD-I and OSHPD-III projects in the healthcare sector. Some of her notable projects include Stanford Healthcare Outpatient Clinics and a regional command center for a large healthcare organization in California.

Badkar is a graduate of the Academy of Architecture in Mumbai and Texas A&M University. She is an associate member of American Institute of Architects.
