American College of Healthcare Architects Announces its 2018 Board of Regents

William “Bill” Hercules, FAIA, FACHA, ACHE, has been named the 2018 president of the Board of Regents. Bill assumes this role as of Jan. 1, after serving as president-elect in 2017. He succeeds 2017 President A. Ray Pentecost, DrPH, FAIA, FACHA, who will assume the role of past-president for 2018.

Hercules has been a member of the Board of Regents since his election in 2011, and has served the college in many capacities primarily focusing on education, awards, recruitment and relationships with external healthcare professional organizations. Hercules is the president of WJH, a national healthcare strategic facility planning consultancy based in Orlando, Florida.

John Rogers, FAIA, FACHA, has been named 2018 president-elect of the Board of Regents. In addition, David Allison, FAIA, FACHA, Jon Paul Bacariza, AIA, ACHA, and Clyde “Ted” Moore III, AIA, ACHA, join the Board of Regents.

Rogers is the corporate architect for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital; Allison is an alumni distinguished professor and director of graduate studies in Architecture + Health at Clemson University; Bacariza is an associate principal and senior vice president with HKS and Moore is a design principal with Haskell.
