SmithGroupJJR Opens Office in San Diego

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – SmithGroupJJR has expanded its national presence with the opening of an office in San Diego, California. This is the 10th U.S. office for the firm, in addition to its location in Shanghai, China.

The San Diego office, located at 225 Broadway, is led by Bonnie Khang-Keating, who will maintain her role leading SmithGroupJJR’s Los Angeles office. The new office was established to capitalize on the firm’s success in securing a wide range of projects in the San Diego area including:

• A next-generation hospital at Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center. This facility, scheduled to be completed in 2019, will add 138 private patient rooms, six large operating rooms and a rooftop café to meet the growing needs of southern San Diego County.
• A 10-year master plan for Scripps Health that will help them evolve to serve changing patient needs and provide the medical care of the future. The program includes comprehensive space planning and programming for three hospitals and a multiple-campus functional space program.

The San Diego office of SmithGroupJJR is located at 225 Broadway in downtown San Diego.
