George Mills Joins JLL as Director of Healthcare Technical Operations

To focus on improving patient safety and clinical outcomes, as well as reducing overall risk in hospital environments, George Mills will transition from his role as director of the department of engineering at The Joint Commission to a new position as director of healthcare technical operations at JLL.

Throughout Mills’ 32-year career in the healthcare industry, he has fought to make patient environments safer and healthier. He is considered one of the foremost experts in the field of hospital operations and has a thorough understanding of the financial, operational and regulatory challenges faced by hospitals today.

He is a Fellow of the American Society for Healthcare Engineering, a Certified Healthcare Facility Manager, a Certified Energy Manager and a Certified Healthcare Safety Professional.
