James Selmser has been named AECOM’s Texas healthcare program director. With 21 years of experience in construction management and business development, he has collaborated on various healthcare, commercial, higher education and industrial industries projects ranging from $5 to $500 million.
Prior to joining AECOM, Selmser led project teams as the operations director for Broaddus & Associates, working exclusively with Memorial Hermann and managing its $750-million level one trauma tower. He also has extensive P3 development experience with Balfour Beatty Investments, where he implemented development and construction processes.
He holds certifications in ICRA, ILSM, OSHA (30-hour), Confined Space, ISO 10011, Risk Management and Project Alignment. His affiliations include Healthcare Construction Managers Association, Associated General Contractors of America Houston, Construction Managers Association of America and Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
