CallisonRTKL Team To Lead Transition Planning Effort For Washington Adventist Hospital

DALLAS, Texas – CallisonRTKL has been selected as the transition planning team for Adventist HealthCare’s Washington Adventist Hospital. Washington Adventist Hospital is relocating after more than a century of service in Takoma Park, Maryland. Their new hospital is located in the White Oak area of Montgomery County in Maryland.

The 170-bed, 430,000-square-foot acute care and medical campus is projected to open in the first quarter of 2019. The new campus will include outpatient services and physician offices, as well as easy access to public transportation and parking. The new hospital will provide quality healthcare and will positively contribute to the economic development of the community.

Key healthcare services will also remain on the hospital’s Takoma Park campus.

Turner Construction is serving as general contractor.
