Stantec Hires Architect Christie Fong to Open Honolulu Office

HONOLULU, Hawaii – Stantec has hired Christie Fong, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, as architectural project manager to help launch Stantec’s new Honolulu, Hawaii office. She will support Hawaii and U.S. West Coast-based buildings teams and work to increase the firm’s client base in Hawaii.

Fong has 15 years of experience as a project architect and project manager in a wide range of markets. At prior posts, she has successfully led large teams of designers and engineers through several challenging projects. Her recent project experience includes Kaiser Permanente Hawaii region property profiles, Maui Memorial Medical Center courtyard expansion, Wahiawa General Hospital emergency department expansion and renovation and Tripler Army Medical Center inpatient pharmacy renovation. For Stantec, Fong is assisting on projects for Sutter Health and Kaiser Permanente.

Fong’s responsibilities include monitoring project schedules and team tasks to meet client’s expectations and implementing best practices to keep projects on time and on budget. A licensed architect in Hawaii, Fong is a member of the American Institute of Architects and U.S. Green Building Council Hawaii chapter.

Bringing on Fong and opening the new office enhances Stantec’s presence in Hawaii, where the company has been working for over 15 years.
