Dewberry has recently promoted Weston Hockaday, P.E., to assistant mechanical engineering department manager for the healthcare engineering group in the firm’s Raleigh, North Carolina, office.
Hockaday, who has been with the firm for seven years, is assisting in the direction of day-to-day operations for the mechanical department with a continued focus on healthcare projects. His technical experience includes the design and construction of building mechanical systems with a concentration on digital control systems.
Hockaday earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from North Carolina State University. He is also a member of the North Carolina Healthcare Engineers Association and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers.
